Adult Awards

What are those funny looking patches anyway?  The Square knot is a universal symbol of Scouting and is used as the basis for many of the Adult Leader Awards.

Recoginition of awards earned as a boy:


Arrow of Light Square Knot:  This represents the highest award earned in Cub Scouting.  The Arrow of Light patche can only be worn by a Webelo Scout or a Boy Scout who earned the award as a Webelo.  The AOL Square Knot can be worn by an Adult who earned the AOL patche as a Webelo Scout.


Eagle Award Square Knot:  This represents the highest award in Boy Scouting.  As with the Arrow of Light, the Eagle Award patch can only be worn by a boy.  The Eagle Square Knot can be worn by an adult who earned the Eagle Award as a boy.


Religious Emblem Square Knot:  Worn by youth and adult members who recieved a religious emblem as a youth member.

Recognition of Training and Service:
These awards are given after completing certain levels of training and time in service to Pack or Troop.


Cub Scout Den Leader Award:  This award is presented to Cub Den Leaders who complete required training and participation in Troop and District events and Roundtables.


Webelo Den Leader Award:  This award is presented to Webelo Den leaders who complete required training and participation in Troop and District events.


Cub Scouter Award


Cubmaster Award


Scouter Training Award:  This award is presented to Scoutmasters who complete required training and participation in Troop and District events.


Scoutmaster's Key Award:  This award is presented to Scoutmasters who complete advanced training and participation in Troop and Disctrict events and Roundtables.


WoodBadge Training:  Wood Badge is a week long or multiweekend training for Adult leaders.

Order of the Arrow:
The Order of the Arrow is a society of honor campers.  OA lodges engage in activities that support camping and Scouting.  The OA is unique in that members are elected by Scouts who are not members of the OA.
