
What is Angel Food Ministries (AFM)?
Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to people regardless of religion, race or economic situation. Covenant UMC is proud to offer the Angel Food Ministry to our community.
What is an AFM box of food?
In each $28.95 box, you will find a mixture of grocery quality fresh and frozen foods with a retail value of approximately $65. One box of food will assist in feeding a family of four for a week or a single person for a month.
How do I place a AFM order?
Place cash or EBT Card orders in person at Covenant's UMC's Smith Covenant Center on Friday, September 10th from 10:30am - 12:30pm or place orders online until 10:59pm on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at www.angelfoodministries.com. You may also call Debby Michael at 901.685.8152 through Sunday, Sept. 12. Menus and specials change monthly, click here to this month's menu.
When do I get my food?
You will pick up your food on the designated Distribution Day for that month. For April the Distribution day will be Saturday, Sept. 18, 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. If ordering a Signature box, please bring your own box or basket.
